Mark Carr Photography

Profile

Mark first picked up a camera at the age of five and after taking a picture of his foot by mistake was rewarded with a smack for wasting film!  Mark learned quickly!

After 15 years as a criminal lawyer he gave up on the legal profession and turned back to photography forming the business in 2003 and qualifying as a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (LBIPP) in 2004.

Clients include restaurants, hotels, trade organisations and  fellow marketing professionals. His works across the UK and Europe on behalf of major clients with a bias towards hospitality and particularly restaurant food photography where he has already worked with some of the best in the World.

A Pragmatic approach

Mark has grown the business through understanding that commercial photography has a cost to the client and like any other business expense it must give a return to the client.

"I am a professional photographer because I understand the need for a my images to have a  positive benefit for the client. It is not at all about me but all about the client"  says Mark.

Personal touch

Mark feels understanding the client's needs and working with the very best in their industry helps achieve a better end product. Mark believes the extra time he invests in this respect is why many clients return to him and most of his new photography business still comes through personal referrals.
